This Privacy Policy explains how Parqueon (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal data when you visit www.parqueon.de, contact us, or use our services. We are established in Germany and process data in accordance with the EU GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2. Categories of data we process

Website/technical data: IP address, device/browser type, referrer URL, pages viewed, time stamps, error logs, cookie IDs.
Contact/contract data: name, company, role, email, phone, address, project details, billing data.
Communication data: messages you send via forms, email, phone or chat.
Optional marketing data (with consent): newsletter preferences, campaign interactions.
Applicant data : CV, cover letter, qualifications.

3. Purposes and legal bases (Art. 6 GDPR)

Website operation & security (server logs, fraud prevention): Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interests).
Responding to enquiries / preparing contracts: Art. 6(1)(b).
Fulfilling contracts, invoicing, customer service: Art. 6(1)(b); retention per statutory obligations Art. 6(1)(c)(e.g., tax law).
Consent-based features (e.g., analytics, marketing cookies, newsletter): Art. 6(1)(a); you can withdraw consent anytime.
Applications (HR): Art. 6(1)(b) (pre-contractual) and § 26 BDSG.

5. Analytics & marketing

If enabled by your consent, we may use:

Google Analytics: usage statistics, pseudonymous IDs, truncated IP.
Meta Pixel / Google Ads: reach measurement and ads.
You can revoke consent anytime; processing up to withdrawal remains lawful.

6. Contact forms, email & phone

If you contact us, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, email, phone, message) to handle your request and any follow-up. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contract/contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in effective customer communication). We retain enquiries for up to 12 months; if a contract is formed, related data may be kept for statutory retention periods.

6a. Spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA v3)

To protect our forms against abuse and automated attacks, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3. The service analyses interactions and may process IP address, device/browser data, page URLs, timestamps and cookie/identifier data.

Provider: Google Ireland Limited (for the EEA) / Google LLC (USA). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests in website security). Where applicable, international transfers are safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Without captcha, form submissions may be blocked for security reasons.

7. Newsletter

With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), we send updates about our services. Double-opt-in is used; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.

We may use carefully selected service providers (processors) for IT, analytics, email delivery, CRM, or support. Processing occurs under Art. 28 GDPR with appropriate data-processing agreements (DPAs).

9. International transfers

If providers process data outside the EU/EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., EU Standard Contractual Clauses, Art. 46 GDPR). Where applicable, additional measures are implemented. Copies or information on the safeguards are available on request.

10. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law. Typical periods:

Server logs: 30 days
Contract & billing data: 10 years (German tax/commercial law)
Enquiries: 24 months
Applicant data: 6 months after decision (unless consent to longer retention)

11. Your rights (Arts. 15–22 GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) at any time on grounds relating to your situation (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

13. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (TOMs) to protect data (e.g., access controls, encryption in transit, backups). No method is 100% secure; we continuously improve our safeguards.

14. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

15. Social media & embedded content

Links or embeds (e.g., YouTube/Vimeo, Google Maps, Instagram) may load content from third parties. Data (incl. IP address and cookie IDs) may be transmitted to these providers when you interact or—if technically necessary—when content loads. Such services run only with your consent where required.
